Therapeutic Parenting Intensives (TPI) are a five-day family getaway in a home-away-from-home environment where learning and growth can happen away from the stresses and chaos of everyday life. Parents will increase their understanding of therapeutic care and practice therapeutic parenting skills in an interactive way to build success, empathy, strength, and empowerment. Each day includes scheduled times for the family to practice therapeutic skills, engage in family activities, and strengthen trust and attachment. Children will have opportunities to complete schoolwork (during the school year), practice skills that will help them succeed at home, and participate in learning and workbook activities.
This program is designed for parents who are working on implementing and using the therapeutic techniques from our Therapeutic Parenting Course.
