Therapeutic Respite Care

The goal of therapeutic respite care is to give parents a break and to motivate the child to reach toward their parents as they continue toward healing.

Therapeutic respite provides a break for exhausted parents, giving them time to rest and recharge, focus on their healthy children, and strengthen family relationships. In respite care, children continue to work on healing, reach toward their parents, and work on life skills.
